I’mPOSSIBLE Pilot Workshop

Initiated by the International Paralympic Committee in 2014, I’mPOSSIBLE Paralympic Education Programme aims to take forward the Paralympic Movement by educating students with knowledge of Para sports, the Paralympics Games and the spirit of inclusiveness through school talks, sports trials and sharing sessions with Paralypians.

For the debut of the Programme in the Hong Kong chapter, the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee collaborated with Tsing Yi Trade Association Primary School and Holy Cross Lutheran School. Students were introduced with the history of the Paralympic Games and had chance to experience Para sports including visually impaired karate and sitting volleyball. Through the invaluable experience from the I’mPOSSIBLE Paralympic Education Programme, students deeply learned about the stories of Para athletes fighting through various challenges, which encouraged students to stay positive despite their difficulties and promote the Paralympic Movement.

To move forward the Paralympic Movement, the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee will continue to work with different organizations. For more information of the I’mPOSSIBLE Paralympic Education Programme,  please contact 2151 3836 or email comm@paralympic.hk.
