Para Bowls is an inclusive, low-impact, strategic lawn bowling sport for individuals with physical disabilities or visual impairments. It is played on outdoor grass/synthetic surfaces, requiring bowlers to land bowls closest to a target jack.
Para Bowls individuals must have a vision impairment or a physical disability that affects movement, usually due to birth defects, diseases, surgery or injury to be able to play and compete as a disabled player.
