As a member of International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and Asian Paralympic Committee (APC), China Hong Kong Paralympic Committee is responsible to coordinate a delegation to attend Major Multi-Sport Games by the above Organizations.
The Paralympic Games are the pinnacle globing sporting event for Para athletes, showcasing the very best of Para sport, and providing optimal conditions for a diverse group of Paralympic athletes to achieve excellence.
Attracting millions of spectators and billions of viewers, the Paralympic Games take place every four years. The first Paralympic Games were held in Rome, Italy, in 1960, while the first Paralympic Winter Games were held in Ornskoldsvik, Sweden, in 1976.
Following the Seoul 1988 Paralympic Games and the Winter Games in Albertville, France, in 1992 the Paralympic Games have been held in the same city and venues as the Olympic Games.
The next Paralympic Games will be held in LA in 2028 followed by Brisbane in 2032. The next winter edition will be staged in Milan and Cortina in 2026 with the French Alps to follow in 2030 and Salt Lake City in 2034.

The Asian Para Games (APG) is a multi-sport event regulated by the Asian Paralympic Committee that's held every four years after every Asian Games for athletes with physical disabilities. The Games are recognized by the International Paralympic Committee and are described as the second largest multi-sport event after the Paralympic Games.
The APG superseded the FESPIC Games, which was dissolved alongside the FESPIC Federation, the governing body of the games and merged with the Asian Paralympic Council which was renamed as the Asian Paralympic Committee at the closing of the final FESPIC edition held in November 2006 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The first Asian multi-sports event for athletes with a disability, the inaugural Asian Para Games was held in 2010 in Guangzhou, China.

The Asian Youth Para Games (AYPG) is a multi-sport event held every four years for youth athletes with physical disabilities. The first Games was held in 2009 in Tokyo, Japan. The Asian Youth Para Games superseded the FESPIC Youth Games which last held in 2003. The AYPG is specifically designed to give young Asian athletes with disabilities an opportunity to compete in an international arena.
